Changing Registered Agent

At this time the Secretary of State does accept
online submissions to change to a new Registered Agent. When you retain Nevada
Registered Agent Service™ you will be provided with a signed
Registered Agent Acceptance/Statement of Change form. You will need to upload online, mail it or present it
in person at the Secretary of State office.
EXISTING BUSINESS - CHANGING/APPOINTING A NEW REGISTERED
AGENT

ONLINE
1. Log on to
Silverflume at https://www.nvsilverflume.gov/home
2. From the home
page select File Annual or Amended List
3. At the top
righthand corner of the page there is a blue arrow below the LOGOUT,
click on the blue arrow icon to scroll the top menu bar to MISCELLANEOUS
and click.
4. Click the FILING
TYPE box and select Registered Agent-Statement of Change.
5. Enter your
existing company name in the Entity Name box and click SEARCH.
6. Select your
business from the list and click NEXT.
7. Enter my name MARC GOHRES in the REGISTERED AGENT
SEARCH box. Click on the "Search"
button, and several radio buttons will appear next to my name below.
IMPORTANT
! Please make sure
that you select the one that reads "Commercial
Registered Agent" and click on the "Select Registered Agent" button. Do not select my name as a Noncommercial Registered Agent. Click
the NEXT button.
8. Type your name in
the SIGNATURE box and MARC GOHRES
in the CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF APPOINTMENT OF REGISTERED AGENT box. Click the SAVE button for both.
9. When the system prompts you “Are you
authorized to sign for the Registered Agent? If not, you will need to upload a
signed Certificate of Acceptance from the Registered Agent.”, select NO
and NEXT to continue.
10. At the SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION page
you will be prompted by the system to upload the attached Registered Agent Acceptance/Statement of
Change form.
11. Click NEXT and review the information and
proceed to click the ADD TO SHOPPING CART button.

FAX OR EMAIL FORMS
1. Download the Customer Order Instructions form from our
website. Complete this prepared form with your business name, date and method
of payment. The fee charged by the Secretary of State is $60.00 for regular
processing (1-2 weeks).
2. Download the ePayment Checklist if you are paying by credit card. Complete
this form with service type and credit card information, the fee charged by the
Secretary of State is $60.00 for regular processing (1-2 weeks).

Should
you require 24-Hour Expedite service for this
Registered Agent change you may check the 24-Hour Expedite box at the top of
the Customer
Order Instructions form and the ePayment Checklist
and add an additional $25 to the total. The total for expedite
possessing is $85.
o
Be
sure to include the phrase “24-Hour
Expedite fee - $25” on the Customer
Order Instructions form in the Order Description box.
3. Submit your signed Registered Agent Acceptance/Statement of Change
form along with the completed Customer Order Instructions and ePayment Checklist via one of
the following methods:
a.

b. Fax the forms to:
If your
current Nevada registered agent resigns, you have 31 days in which to retain a
new registered agent. If you fail to retain a new agent after the grace period the State of
Nevada charges a $75 late fee to reinstate your
registered agent. You also will not be able to renew or manage your
business without a current registered agent.
